Greetings, Guild Members & Friends:
Ah, the many memories over the years that Willam Christensen’s The Nutcracker has imparted upon generations in our community… .
In particular, we all seem to share a special love and appreciation for the Mother Buffoon character, including the costume, its masterful designer, and the artists of Ballet West who embody the character so brilliantly.
Our Guild was the collective sponsor of the Mother Buffoon costume for Ballet West’s Nutcracker Campaign in 2017. In fact, a motion to sponsor the Mother Buffoon costume was the first official act of business of our new Ballet West Guild as we formed under a new charter in March 2017, at Lamb’s Grill no less.
We remind you of the special KSL broadcasts of The Nutcracker at 5:30-7:00 pm on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
And please be sure to join us in January, when we will have the honor of special guest:
