Guild Members were Guests at the Ball!

Guild member Dee Gauss played a Walk-On Role on February 14th in Ballet West’s production of CINDERELLA!

Dee’s role was one of the guests at the ball as part of Act II, set in A Hall at the Palace.

The Walk-On Role was offered as a live auction item at Ballet West’s Spring Soiree last year, and Dee won it! Carole Wood also won a part at the Soiree.

Actually, the role was much more than just walking on. It involved rehearsal with the company, costume fitting, wig and makeup - a complete insider experience.

The run of CINDERELLA was so spectacular. Congratulations to all of Ballet West’s artists and staff for bringing us another incredible in-person encounter with really great art.

Ballet West’s production of CINDERELLA opened this weekend to sold out, stand up audiences.

New sets and costumes from The Royal Ballet are now here in Capitol Theatre to bring another perspective of nuance and intrigue to a favorite fairytale ballet.

Come enjoy the work of Sergey (Sergei) Prokofiev and (Sir) Frederick Ashton.

Ballet West Guild members are in the lobby welcoming attendees and of course in the audience for every show!

Guild Members and Friends enjoyed “A Little Night Music” with Jared Oaks and Nic Maughan at the keyboards.

What a great evening! Bruce Caldwell shared history of the musical numbers and Nic had a great trivia contest. Of course Guild member Jeanne Potucek won with the most correct answers.
